The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a National Football League (NFL) team based in Tampa, Florida. The team, commonly referred to as the Bucs, was started in 1976. In the 46 NFL seasons they have played, they have only made it to the Super Bowl, the annual NFL championship game, twice and won both games.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers first made it to the Super Bowl in 2002, where they played the Oakland Raiders, beating them 48–21 to clinch their first championship. After that, the Bucs only made it back to the Super Bowl in 2021 after they signed one of the greatest NFL quarterbacks in history, Tom Brady, in 2020. Brady led the team to their second Super Bowl appearance, where they thoroughly defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9.
